Job Duties:

• Perform routine maintenance open-up, servicing, etc.

Aeroteams is currently hiring a Sheetmetal Mechanics for work in Wilmington, OH.  

• Perform structure maintenance, repair, and/or modification on customer aircraft in accordance with applicable technical data, customer maintenance program requirements, within estimated or budgeted hours, and within FAA and customer standards of quality.  
• Consult and interpret blueprints, Structural Repair Manuals, illustrated parts Catalog, service bulleting and engineering orders to determine feasibility and method of repairing or replacing malfunctions or damaged structural components. 
• Document all maintenance actions in accordance with company, customer, and FAA guidelines. 
• Responsible to Return to Service aircraft that have completed all required maintenance actins utilizing logbooks, company, and customer authorized documentation.

• Install, modify, and troubleshoot cabin lighting systems (LED, mood lighting, PSU units, etc.).
• Perform installation of IFE equipment, including seat electronics, monitors, servers, and wiring harnesses.
• Carry out routing, termination, and securement of cabin wiring per engineering drawings and STC requirements.
• Support functional and operational checks of cabin systems after installation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve discrepancies related to lighting and IFE installations.
• Read and interpret aircraft wiring diagrams, engineering documents, and modification work instructions.
• Document all work performed in accordance with FAA and company requirements.
• Collaborate with engineering, interiors, and other maintenance teams to ensure project success

• The project will be on an Interior Refresh for an airline 
• Perform such typical maintenance functions as cabling, component removal/installation, wire harness removal/installation, fabrication/repair of wire assemblies, and continuity checks.
• Determine if work can safely be accomplished if aircraft is in a power-on mode and be able to conduct necessary testing if in a power-on mode.
• Fabricate and install all wiring assemblies, static lines, and associated mechanical equipment.
• Follow all applicable specifications to accomplish a specific task.
• Follow all safety procedures and specifications.
• Execute all required paperwork in connection with assigned normal duties.
• Use and operate ground support equipment, as applicable and if qualified, in a safe manner.
